My name is Elena Regine Moldal, and I qualified from the University of Edinburgh (BVM&S). I hold a PhD in surgery and am an EBVS-recognized specialist in small animal surgery (Diplomate ECVS). I have extensive experience and can perform most surgical procedures in dogs and cats. I also work part-time as a researcher, focusing on cranial cruciate ligament disease and biomarkers for surgical injury.
In a busy everyday practice, where you may be far from a mentor or referral hospital, I hope this site can serve as a helping hand for practicing veterinarians.
